Issac "Ike" Coleman Sibley
I'm not real positive about the life of Ike Sibley. Until recently I didn't even know his real name. I came across a person on Ancestry.com who researches his family line and had my grandmother's name on her chart. We collaborated and she shared some information with me including this photo. Now I have a face to match the name.
Born Issac Coleman Sibley he is the son of John Asa Sibley and Belle Boyd Cook. He was born 27 January 1904 in Yazoo, Mississippi. He married my grandmother, Caroline Elisabeth "Beth" Duke on 15 September 1932 in Greenville, Mississippi. They had one daughter, Dorothea Ann Sibley. They divorced sometime around 1935. Ike died 2 April 1962 in Sardis, Mississippi but there is no record of him between the divorce and his death that we have found.
